Members of the The Registered Care Association for East Sussex, Brighton & Hove (RCA) are required to observe the following code of conduct:
To uphold the Service User's Charter.
To provide a standard of care adequate for the needs of each service user.
To maintain and furnish living accommodation to a satisfactory standard.
To administer the business in a proper and safe manner.
To keep proper records as required by the Association, by Government and by other authorised agencies.
To be honest, ethical and sympathetic in all dealings with service users and their affairs.
To uphold current policies of the Association.
To facilitate the inspection of the business by appointed Association officers when required.
To give value for money.
